Why should I care about invasives?
•Invasive plants can harm the natural heritage of our wetlands, prairies, forests, lakes, and rivers.
•Invasive plants can decrease your ability to enjoy hunting, fishing, mushroom collecting, bird watching and other recreational pursuits.
•The longer we wait, the more expensive it will be to control invasive plants.

Where do I start?
It’s important to think through a plan for managing invasive plants on your land before you start the attack.
Without a plan, it’s easy to underestimate the time and resources it will take to control a species. You can end up overwhelmed and give up in frustration.
